How to explore your magnetic setup
Start with a reference, make one change and compare the result.
Choose a starting point
Start with the factory 28-magnet arrangement and note how it feels. The inner-ring N poles face outward and the outer-ring S poles face inward, without alternating outer-ring polarity.
Change one thing
Follow the manual when altering placement or polarity. Compare at a similar turning speed and note resistance, rhythm and sound together.
Bring the comparison back to the reel
The Setup Lab is a useful preview. Confirm the configuration on the actual assembled reel and check it before fishing.
