Start with a shape worth remembering

A rounded ring. An open center. An exterior uninterrupted by exposed screws. Fly-Fin began with a simple ambition: give the reel a recognizable identity, then make the mechanics live up to the form.

Over four years, that idea became a series of decisions about shape, materials and magnetic feedback. The finished product reflects those choices without asking you to see every part that makes them possible.

A rhythm you can make your own

Inside that shell, a configurable magnetic ring shapes the resistance, clicks and tactile feel. We chose to make those sensations part of the experience, with an arrangement the angler can explore.

The production design uses magnetic interaction and movable outer-ring magnets rather than traditional tooth-and-pawl engagement.

Built around time outside

The reel is the starting point. The Explorer’s Lanyard keeps the essentials close, while the Alpha Guardian Shell adds a different expression to the same setup.

Our conservation mission looks toward the cold, clean waters that make fly fishing possible. It is a commitment we intend to document with completed contributions, not borrowed proof.
