Magnetic feedback or click-and-pawl?

Understand what changes, and what still depends on setup.

Compare the source of feedback

A traditional click-and-pawl mechanism generates a repeating feel through mechanical engagement. Fly-Fin uses magnetic interaction and small movements of outer-ring magnets.

Separate the mechanism from the whole reel

Removing tooth-and-pawl contact addresses one wear interface. Bearings and other moving contacts remain, and routine care still matters. Magnetic feedback is not a claim of zero friction throughout the reel.

Try the difference in context

Consider the line, technique and feedback you prefer. Compare configurations at similar speeds and judge control, sound and feel together.
