Development is not the production specification

An eddy-current brake was explored during development. It is not part of the production Fly-Fin reel. Current product information should be read in that context.

What is in the reel today?

The rotating spool interacts with a configurable ring of movable magnets. Small chamber movements create resistance, sound and tactile feedback without a traditional ratchet and pawl.
